Update: Two Months Abroad

It’s been just over two months now since I hopped on a plane and said goodbye to the U.S. I can’t decide if it feels like I’ve been gone for a lifetime or just the blink of an eye, but it somehow seems like both. Time moves in a weird way when you’re traveling.

I had to scrap this piece quite a few times already. Heck, it’ll be shocking if anyone ever gets to see it at this point. Writing about the rainforest has been such a curveball for me because there’s so much more to it than I ever thought there would be.
